...and I got the Drake for $70/nite! I'm so excited...this was my first time bidding and I was scared because I'm coming up for business this Monday, and just realized it was also St. Patty's day weekend so I didn't think I'd be able to get a deal on anything, and I'm on a very strict budget right now.

Anywho, based on the pics I can't wait to see this hotel and I'm so glad I'll still be close to everything.

That's a good deal. The Drake's a beautiful hotel, and in a great location, especially when the weather is nice (the area around the Drake can be a bit of a wind tunnel on less pleasant spring weekends).

Enjoy!

If you're in Chicago tomorrow you can watch the Chicago River turn "green with envy" for the patron Saint of Ireland, hang around for the Parade, and revel in the food and green beer when it is over.

You should feel much better by Monday. The good news is the Drake is a Chicago landmark.

Its St. Paddy's NOT St. Patty's St. Patrick was a man not a woman.

That is a smoking good deal. And the Drake is a really nice hotel.

Not sure if they decorate the lobby for other seasons, but the Christmas decorations every year are stunning!
