When I lived in Seattle I listened to The BJ Shae Show every morning. They were funny, made you laugh out loud but still meant for a somewhat mature audience. When I moved to Memphis/Mississippi I found "Drake and Zeke" . Also funny and entertaining. Maybe a little bit too religious in their views for my personal taste but the best i could find.

Chicago must have tons of great talk radio. I do not want a show concentrated around politics, but random everyday stuff. Im looking for something that attracts an audiance between 25 and up.

any suggestions please?

Also,

I used to be a fan of Howard Stern if that helps

Thanks!

Chicago's talk radio is abysmal. A sad collection of has-beens and never gonna-be's who aren't very funny or witty. To make matters worse the AM dial seems totally overwrought with commercials.

The key demographic for AM these days seems to be grouchy old men with swollen prostates and erectile dysfunction. Try looking to satellite radio or podcasts for some kind of witty banter, cause it's going to be hard to find some 'round here.

Yeah, public radio is pretty good on Saturday mornings, I enjoy it. It focuses on the news of the week, and normally they are pretty funny. 10-11 is wait wait don't tell me, I enjoy that.

Public radio.

WBEZ.

I admit, I have enjoyed Howard Stern in my day, but time to grow up a little and see that there is good stuff out there that's free.

"This American Life" is on Saturday's at noon, and is one of the best things on the radio. It's a Chicago show.

I would suggest Tom Joyner, 106.3 FM in the mornings. His sidekick Sybil Wilkes is from Chicago.

I know Howard Stern is not mature but I liked him. Back when he was on regular radio.
