Yeah, One thing is certain they certainly are not making it easy for an operator..

Certainly cant wrong anyone who is looking to make an income and start a potential business or expand on their current business.

If Chicago does become the first major city where food trucks don't take off, this will be why. I hope they'll be smarter about it.

Nonsense, poutine is great. It'd probably be the only reason I'd check out a food truck in Chicago.

I'm with you on both poutine (it's freakin tasty) and food trucks (personally I could care less if they exist or not). That being said, I think it's silly to not let them cook on a truck.

According to the article:

"Trucks will be limited to operating for two hours within a 24-period at any of the designated parking areas."

What's the point restricting them to only two hours?

It seems like it would be hard to make much money if you're having to spending half your time moving from one location to another.
