Can you recommend an excellent management company which i can get an apartment in Lakeview area? When you read apartment reviews, people say buildings are bad. However, i lived in a building that was great! So who knows. Anyway, can you recommend a good management company that I could work with at least to start? Thanks! Some choices to decide from are Planned Property, Cagan, Wirtz, Group Fox, Reside, and Realty and Mortgage or there might be others.

Have you considered visiting one of the "apartment finder" services? They're rental agents for landlords. They don't manage the buildings, but they have a strong inventory of available properties to consider and from that point you can further inquire about the building management company, etc.

yes i will probably pick apartment finders or something. i want to be in a nice place, but i suppose i just have to use my eyes and ears and ask question.. just wanted to know some place to begin. The apartment reviews are pretty negative and those might or might not be just disgruntled ex-tenants.
