In theory any line that runs on the loop can be routed to any terminal that connects with the loop. They don't through route anything but the green line now days but in older times the revenswood has terminated on the kenwood(a former southside line). They sometimes need to move cars about for various reasons.

Also the midway line uses the lake dan ryan's exit to make it to the tracks that will take it to midway(and part the lake dan ryan exit is the old south side main line--now part of the green and Orang lines).
