One again, I must "spread the reputation around"; common theme..

Doubt that will ever happen but I can see a member of the NRA saving half of Chicago by taking down the terrorist who has a bomb.

As open as our southern border is, it's only a matter of time before we see more terrorist bombers in the US.

That's a much more likely scenario.

Yes, more fantasies of Aermicans with guns saving thousands of Americans from the threat of a terrorist bombing. That armed security guard at columbine didn't exactly save those students from 2 armed gunmen.

If bombs travelling through the southern border was a "much more likely scenario" we'd be seeing lots of it right now, which we aren't, yet we see lots of people getting killed domestically by gun violence.

In the mean time thousands of people in the US are killed annually, and I'm willing to bet that Americans have killed an astronomically higher amount of Americans with their guns than terrorists, both foreign and homegrown, have with bombs.

If we start arming every child at age 5, then such a shooting would have never happened.

Why wait until 5? Infants and toddlers have constitutional rights, too. Also, don't forget fetuses! Life begins at conception, you know.

The NRA is eager to blame everything on earth except guns for gun deaths. They push gun ownership and fight laws to stop them, and then when so many people have guns and rampages happen, the solution is, of course, more guns!

Is there a connection you'd like to make ... with Chicago?

If you're unaware of any connection between Chicago and the gun control debate, you should probably pay closer attention.

Really, what does this have to do with Chicago? Shouldn't this just go in the Politics forum?

Also, I heard that while various car companies were airing ads telling Americans to go buy more of their cars, a bunch of Americans died because of cars. Much more so than guns! It's disgusting what the car companies will do to make a buck.

Out of curiosity, how many times per forum does this false equivalence need to be debunked before you broken-record dumbasses stop regurgitating it? I would think a few dozen would suffice.
