is there anyone here who rent furniture for their home from CORT every month? what do you think of it? is there any drawback with the approach? im not sure whether i should buy used furniture or just rent. i prefer not to deal with moving the furniture but still don't want to pay too premium price for that.

If you're looking to buy a car, wait until you move before buying it. Otherwise you'll end up paying to have it registered and titled in Wisconsin only to have to pay yet again to have it titled and registered in Illinois. And if you buy it in Wisconsin and then move to Illinois within a short period of time, you'll end up paying Wisconsin sales tax on it and then you'll pay the difference between the WI and IL tax rate when you move to Illinois, only this time you'll pay it out of pocket instead of being able to roll it into the finance package (if any).

Swapping a driver's license is a lot less of a hassle/expense. Something like $10.
