Ok? That's a personal thing.

The lesson we all should learn from this is don't believe everything the local media puts out. We've gotten so accepting of irresponsible journalism and we shouldn't. Also people judge other groups by what they hear on the news and that is just dumb! Get out and learn about people face to face not via media!

Just wanted to note that so far this year we're at 123 homicides, compared to 196 at this point last year. That's a drop of about 40%, and keeps us right on track to hit a new low for homicides.

u could be right. i love chicago too im a native. but like here-- the police department might be tweaking the stats to make the city look a little better. personally if even one young man dies b4 his time, its too much. our young people are our future.

Completely forgot about this one page that DePaul has on incidents that are reported to them by students (for the Lincoln Park area). Not much bad happens in Lincoln Park, at least as far as students go.
