I am visiting Chicago in a couple weeks for college orientation at Depaul. I will only be paying for a hotel the night before orientation then checking out before I head to Depaul. After orientation my brother and I want to stick around a little bit before heading home. The problem is our bags. We are taking the South Shore Line commuter in so we have no car to stow them in. Are there any lockers that we can drop our bags of at while we are out and about?

Where are you staying? Most, if not all, hotels will hold your bags for free after you check out. Just ask them to hold them when you check out. It also works if you get into town before your checkout time and don't want to carry your stuff around before your room is ready.

This. I've had previous experience with hotels holding my bags after I checked out.

I will be staying at the Days Inn Chicago in Lincoln Park. Check out is at 11am, my orientation is until 3pm. I have no set time to go back home, I just want to leave by the end of the day. I will have to call ahead and see if they can hold out bags while we are around town. Thx!

The hotel should be able to hold the luggage for that amount of time.
