I was just driving home today from Holy Name Cathedral and I took the hwy home. Driving on Ontario where the Excalibur Nightclub used to be it now has a big sign saying "Castle." - What is that? Is that another nightclub? Are they picky who they let in and what is the cover fee for men and women? What happened to Excalibur and when did that place change?

Looks like they didn't change much besides the name. Can't find out if it's still the same owner or not. On one of the yelp reviews someone said they added a gay bar but doesn't seem to be any different in terms of remodeling. I'm sure the bouncers aren't any less douchey.

Yes, ala carte still owns it, Excalibur is now Castle and Vision is now Palladium. They let most of the old staff go and have been trying to make it a little more upscale and drop it's tourist suburban image and go more mainstream / VIP / bottle service.

Gay bar huh? If women get in free I'll try to get in in my sequin nightclub women's outfit, as a woman... Then I'll hit on women. I'm bored so it's one amusing thing to do in life. Problem is it's so hard to get parking around there and most people come in past 10 pm, and that's when I want to go home and sleep. I hardly go to nightclubs because I hate dancing, paying a cover fee, I don't drink much alcohol, and right not I'm unemployed just on SSDI and that won't impress a pretty woman, unless she likes me as a good hunk of meat.

They remodeled, added more "zones", etc. Same owners....they did this about 6 months ago.
