See today for me is a perferct Chicago summer day! This is what Chicago summer days are usually like! About time as this weather has been a rarity this summer thus far. It's either been very cool and uncomfortably hot.

These cool cloudy days are the best.
No annoying sunshine burning your eyes.
No sweat.
Cool breeze.

And wtf is the point of Hot if you stay inside with the AC?
That's why I don't always buy the whole "I love it when it's 85+" thing some people say. These same people always have their AC going and drink icy drinks. I guess it's a similar enjoyment to wearing uncomfortably tight shoes so you can feel the pleasure of taking them off. You can spend an entire day in 72 degree (the optimum room temp for humans) weather and not feel cold or hot and not have to "cool off" by going in the shade or indoors and not be sweaty. It's so much more enjoyable.

This human finds 72 degrees just a little too warm for indoors. Especially at night when trying to sleep. I prefer 68 or so.

I just like Chicago summers to be that, Chicago summers. Not spring or infernos. Today, yesterday and thursday are to me a perfect summer day. That is all I want from June to August. Some of you like it cooler, but sorry, that is now what Chicago summers are like.

Today's a bit humid , with the dew point 67-69 degrees in most places .. it would be quite a bit warmer and stickier with the sun .. dog days are coming ..quite a few more days like the last 3, with a few up in the 90s . Enjoy it . The daylight is starting to decrease .
