Hmm,, i've seen some of that on the north side in some of the new bldgs. I dunno, i don't think it is necessarily ugly. It depends on the whole design of the building itself. I'd be more concerned about it not being a very good building material, and you have this $600,000 house you invested in, only to find out that it leaks and is slowly decaying under you.

Oh by the way, re the comment about HGTV's holy trinity, I too roll my eyes at that, they turn a perfectly good white kitchen into a "we have to rip out that ugly outdated white appliances" sheesh! But then overlook something in the foundation which WILL screw them badly.
