Latin Bliss on north Lincoln
Haven't been there particularly, but I lived near the area before and it's usually busy.

I've been to Transit on Lake Street and there has been a large/majority hispanic crowd there before. Not sure if they have a latin night, or if that time was a latin night.

There are other clubs that have latin nights but I forget.

That's been on my list for years and even though I'm super close I just have never gotten around to it.
Best night imo are Thursdays and Saturdays. Also go LATE. The party doesn't really start until 11 the very earliest.

My advice, go there around 9:30 or so for dinner (they have really good food), and then around 11 it starts to get good.

What I like about it too is it's mixed crowd. Although it tends to be more Latin people that go there, it's nice because most are professional latinos, but there is always a mix of people, specifically white and latin. Also the age range is pretty diverse I would say it's usually people from their late 20's to their early 40's that got there. So if you are older you won't feel super out of place, compared to a place that really only people in their's 20's visit.

Anyway if you like dance, it's one of the best places in the city imo. The music is unique, top notch, the food is good, the ambience is cool (almost like a hidden underground type of place) and the drinks are amazing. Definitely check it out if you can.

Well, not to be weird but I don't think it's the BEST bet only because it's far away from where you'll be and not a ton is around there. I would check it out, but for example a place like Nacional 27 which is near you has salsa lessons on Thursdays for example, and the clubs may have stuff. Also a place like Havana near there will probably have a live Latin band.

Barra N is still awesome, but just realize that it's semi far away from where you'll be and there's not a ton around it. That's all I want to "warn" you about. Good place nonetheless.

It's a restaurant, but turns more into a lounge after 10pm or so. It's definitely not a nightclub, as it's actually fairly small. If you are staying in downtown it's definitely out of the way. If I were you I would cab it there for a late dinner (and I mean like 9pm or 10pm) and then enjoy it from there.

It's more of a small, personal place. The people that go there are always a good group and the music top notch. It's more of an off the beaten path place (both figurativel and literally). Where Nacional 27 is more mainstream.

Depends what you are in the mood for and looking for I guess.
