looks like we're being held hostage by the downstaters now.

i mean, really, it's totally a shame that more than half of their roads are being shut down on January 20, too, so they TOTALLY need this capital bill RIGHT NOW OMG. really. for shame. what have us big city douchebags been thinking all this time, just thinking about raising taxes for ourselves? we totally need to help those poor folks out because we never ever do! we're so mean forgetting about the rest of them like that

I actually sent an email to someone who responded to my plea with some 'we must tie it to road construction' nonsense telling him that all of his precious roads are not going to turn to dust in the next 10 days, but in refusing to address the RTA funding issue, mine essentially will.
