Getting sick on vacation is no good, but you're a trooper for getting through it. Glad you're having a good time It definitely is colder than it usually is, no denying that one.

This darn cold I got and the weather forced me to buy a nice overcoat. I will probably never wear it in Florida, but I'm enjoying it here. Yesterday we walked almost two hours over Ukrainian Village and Wicker Park. It was beautiful. Then we started to freeze so couldn't make it to Bucktown and Logan Square. Today we might head to Pilsen. Honestly I am still fooling around in the hotel...remaints of yesterday night drinking at Blues on Halstead...

I also decided this past week to hang out in Chicago myself (just came back home today) armed with a wool coat, a wool hat, my left foot, my right foot and a Ventra card with a 7-day pass on it. I was pretty much all over the place this past week. I managed to bring home a Sox and a Cubs jersey.

And, yes, it's way too early to be this cold - the snowfall and subsequent ice patches it left behind back on Monday/Tuesday certainly didn't help. I'll likely be back in March (when it'll be much warmer hopefully).

Still love the Brown Line.
