Prove it. There might be a handful of tiny studios in lakeview for $700 but the majority of them are $800+

There are a number of neighborhoods in Chicago outside the bubble of the Lakeview that are affordable.

I rent a 1 bedroom in a nice neighborhood for under $600.

Really? I'm way undercharging. My Andersonville studios are all under $700.

Unless they're hovels... yeah, you're probably undercharging. But as long as you're cash-flowing and attracting good tenants, might as well stick with what you're doing.

Exactly. I'm glad we agree. What is it that you want me to prove to you?

Yep, we agree there, too.

It's possible you're undercharging, but Andersonville is generally cheaper than Lakeview, so that's the best gauge.

What neighborhood might that be? (I'm just curious.)

You might be surprised by what you can find in Lakeview if you look hard enough, especially over the summer. I toured quite a few studios between $700 and $800 over the summer.

You can even find decent one bedrooms for less than $1,000.

I meant to say that's NOT the best gauge.

I've seen quite a few studios in Andersonville listed at $650, so that makes sense. I have no idea what they are like inside, just saw signs on buildings.
