Read this the other day at work. Just thought to share. People shouldn't always complain about the cold weather, instead, we should look at the positives. Think positive.

Well I dunno about anyone else, but I need warmth and sunlight.

Thankfully, I don't get sick easily. *knocks on wood*

Don't people slip and fall more in cold weather?

Don't more car wrecks happen in ice and snow? That can't be could for health

Don't more people drink more in cold weather.

It SAID that, but said that's more due to low barometric pressure than cold. My aches and pains seem to have diminished somewhat, even though I spent 30 minutes shoveling yesterday.

Cold weather keeps people indoors, which prevents them from frequenting Chicago's plethora of drinking establishments, where they might meet an attractive member of the opposite sex (or unatractive if they'be been drinking), and where that encounter might lead to unsafe sex and the spreading of STD's. So yes, the polar vortex has a health benefit. #takemychanceswithwarmerweatherandcondoms

Is Chicago a "moderate drinking" kind of town?
