I have an open house I have registered for uic, don't know why but I like it over other schools and I've read some decent things on their program. Hopefully I'm impressed

Whoops, I thought the OP was asking about a Master's degree.

In terms of what I have seen from folks that I have interviewed for technical positions and conversations with many others I would recommend not considering NEIU.

If you can afford IIT or DePaul I do think they are more focused on students, have better career placement and internship options, tighter ties to good employers and generally represent a good value compared to UIC that does mostly have good sequence of courses but is neither as student focused / employment oriented. Some of this comes down to having lots of non-native English speakers as teaching assistants and the goofy bureaucratic nonsense that I have encountered even trying to get interns from UIC aligned with the needs of the firms I have worked for...

Hmm..I didn't think Depaul had a good reputation when it came to computer science, I thought it was mostly business based..
