I know that the 800ft tower with a hole in it is dead, but what could be in store for the site? the lot is at a prime location for a residential tower.

I just need to know...
-who owns the site now?
-are they still intrested in developing it?
-do they have the money to?

Thanks for any info!!
P.S. sorry for title i know its 375 W Wacker

No, the title is 375 East Wacker. Please don't make us guess about what on earth you're talking about.

Jeanne Gang of Studio Gang is designing a new tower for that site. It has not been unveiled yet and probably won't be anytime soon, but there are plans for that lot, which is part of the Lakeshore East planned development which is a multi-decade, patient development project for that entire neighborhood.

I'm sorry I haven't heard anything about it. Lakeshore East buildings are owned by Magellan. so maybe you could go to the website and they might have more info.
