My favorite is actually a snack - Garrett's Popcorn. The mix (cheese and caramel). Everytime I visit Chicago, I can never get to Harold's Chicken or when I pass by, I never have time to stop. But, I've smelled the aroma. That's what I really want to try.

I just bought myself a bag of Garrett's and loved it. The downside is yellow stained fingers. But who cares since it's Garrett's.

I'm also a big pizza guy, so I'll go with Lou Malnati's for deep dish and Aurelio's for thin.
Do you like Giardano's? (I hope I spelled it right).

Question about chicago hotdogs - ok so I know it's all about the toppings right, but yall wouldn't prefer a bigger meatier dog? like the costco hot dogs, in addition to everything else?

no?

I always wondered why the hot dogs on chicago hotdogs were so small

Polish Sausage w/mad onions, french fries, and an orange pop from Maxwell St. in Chicago Heights, before they moved. I used to go to Jimmy's with my friends and then hit up Maxwell St. for some polishes at about 3 in the morning...ah...the good ole days.

Italian beef with mozzarella cheese... Gyros, gyros, gyros... Thin crust pizza with loads of Italian sausage... and some damn good fried chicken!

Basically, Chicago does "fast food" like nobody else! I gained 15 pounds within a month of moving here :-)~
