If you dont already know, stuntman Nick Wallenda has made plans to preform a tightrope walk from the Marina City (Corn Cob Buildings) West tower, across the Chicago River (roughly 600 ft in the air) to the Leo Burnett Building (Wayne's World office tower). This stunt is scheduled to take place on Sunday November 2nd. What are your plans for the event?

-I'm going down to the river to see it personally!
-I don't have time/I'm too lazy to travel to the river, ill just watch it on the news.
-Meh, don't care. wont watch it all.

His luck is going to run out at some point and I don't want to be there when that happens. His father died in front of a crowd of people pulling a similar stunt.

is the city requiring him to wear a safety harness? i think he did on his Niagara falls stunt

Last I heard no they aren't requiring one. This was during the initial announcement however and I imagine its likely to have changed, or will change since then. He prefers not to wear one to stick true to his task but typically if there are crowds and sponsors involved, they require them. Only a few days before the Niagra Falls stunt did they officially announce he had to wear a tether.

I watched his canyon walk on TV a while back, it was pretty great. If I can make the time I'll definitely go downtown to watch.
