What's the best way to get from Midway airport to union station? I'll be traveling with 1 other person and we'll have 3 suitcases between us. Thanks.

Best <> cheapest <> fastest. If you want to do it cheaply (i.e., not a taxi or shuttle) , take the CTA Orange Line to Quincy (2nd stop one you enter the loop) and walk 4 blocks west (about 1/2 a mile) on Adams or Jackson to Union Station. Just be warned it's a bit of a walk from the Midway terminal to the Orange Line, and not entirely indoors. Should take about an hour from start to finish.

It wouldn't hurt to allow an hour to be safe, in case there are train problems, but it should take more like 40 minutes, including the 5-10 minutes of walking.

I would, too. Should be less than $30 and convenient.

Technically the cheapest way from Midway to Union Station is to walk the entire way, which can be done in 3 hours (at least without luggage). I'm not recommending anyone walk between the two, but it can be done.
