That literally sounds like a living nightmare to me. I actually love Chicago weather, I HATE the heat. Winters aren't that bad, and then April through October is great weather. It gets hot and humid a few times a summer, but overall it's awesome from my point of view.

If you hate the weather here complaining about it is going to solve nothing for your situation. It's just going to make others tired of listening to the complaints.
As much as it is complaining about the cold winters, the same applies to complaining about the heat.

As much as it is complaining about the weather - it's also bad to complain about other people complaining about the weather.

I think that's basically it. Having winter start in earnest in early November has initiated a lot of PTSD from last winter.

I complained for years, and then moved away.

I still come back to this board occasionally to complain some more - that's how bad it was to me.

Maybe if I was a retiree and didn't need to go out everyday, I could look out my window and enjoy a snowy scene. But then I would probably pass out from shoveling snow.

After being in Miami for a few days it certainly was depressing coming back to this place.

One of the things I hated about living in Chicagoland and Wisconsin during the winter is having your car covered with a thick layer of salt. If you're a car lover, this isn't so good...
