and either they don't know what taxis are or there aren't any reliable services out there.
(please no one take offense, I am just joking)
anyone on this forum know of any? DO NOT tell me 303-taxi, because they would have left me stranded in Lemont if they'd had their way. Thankfully my favorite band is nice and brought me back to civilization (the blue line)... true story.
i'm going to a concert at the Clearwater, and i'm pretty sure i have access to a car, but just in case I want to cover all bases .. and the Pace bus that runs from the Elgin metra to where I'm staying (2 feet away from the theater), doesn't run on sundays, so worst case scenario, i would only need one on Sunday morning when trying to get back to the city.
I appreciate any help.

I don't know about taxis in the suburbs (I've never taken suburban taxis) but you may want to look into a car service that you can book ahead of time as opposed to trying to call a taxi after the show (which would probably be a dicey affair out there).

well, I really only would need it for Sunday morning to get to the metra (5 mi.) in case my car option falls through... i'm staying Saturday night right next to the Clearwater so i can easily stumble back to a bed, hah. Thanks for the suggestion.
