Quite a ballplayer, over 1000 RBIs from 1951-1963; quite an accomplishment especially since he didn't appear in the big leagues until he was at least 28. If he had entered baseball at an earlier age, he would, no doubt, be in the Hall of Fame..

Ironically, he was in Cleveland for those two years that included the "Go-Go Sox" pennant in 1959, with a team based upon pitching, defense and speed, with an atrocious hitting lineup. They could have used Minnie against the Dodgers..
