What will Chicago be like in 2020?

Downtown development will likely be fine, Tribune Tower East was just recently approved and is now slated to be built (soon to become the second tallest skyscraper in Chicago. Fingers crossed this baby is completed, and built to expectations, and doesn't fall into the list of down-sized, shelved, or just outright cancelled projects we've seen in the past). I'm sure the core will continue to be built up. I do, however, wonder how the whole gentrification front will be affected in the coming decades, with what we're currently seeing with dozens of thousands of small businesses being forced to close up shop due to the pandemic.

So basically, the core around the Loop will likely be business as usual. The neighborhoods however, may see some changes.
