There is free parking and easy parking at home. Would you drive or bike? I think driving is the best option because biking can be dangerous and takes effort.

I would bike it. Driving short distances wears out your car faster. And there are health benefits to cycling. The only downside is it takes longer, but not by much.

I'll double down on the automobile here. Haven't been on a bike in thirty years and I don't miss it.

16 blocks? That's easy to bike.

The answer is both. Depending on the weather and temperature.

two miles is ridiculously easy on a bike. And, it could possibly be faster than by car depending on where you live.

Used to love to bike but after 10 years about 5-6 days a week decided I'd rolled the dice enough and retired it. There aren't that many deaths a year but frankly in my opinion if you bike in this city long enough you are going to get clipped. I guess technically I got hit twice but was lucky enough not to be injured. One time in the burbs came pretty close to dying in a non traffic related incident. No mas for me.

The ongoing acrimony between the biking community and drivers is a big reason that I'm actually afraid to bike in the city. I have tried to overcome it but I just get too nervous biking in the street. I might start taking advantage of the Bloomingdale Trail to get myself back in the saddle, so to speak, but I have to admit to being terrified of city biking. Honestly, I'm perfectly happy to walk two miles if the weather is nice enough.

It depends if you have access to bike lanes. For me, I am riding protected bike lanes 3/4 of the way so it's pretty safe.

Depends on what your starting and ending locations are (and weather and other factors).
