If I am nuts, can you refer me to a psychiatrist? Thank you.
LOL. If you are good at talking to people randomly then whatever. The one thing is in a city like this, it might be harder to make friends to hang out with versus college. That's what I found at least. If I'd meet someone cool and get their number, there might be some reluctance to hang out a lot.

Still though, even though my first 6-8 months I barely had anyone to hang out with, it was still fine considering there's so much going on in the city most days. I'd just walk around downtown a lot and see things, explore, learn my way around, eat new places, etc.

I spent some time in Chicago last month for a family event, and I always remember what a fun and friendly city it is when I'm visiting. But after having a heart-to-heart with my brother during the visit, I'm not sure coming back immediately is right for me. He moved back last year, for similar reasons I was considering, and said that moving was a tough transition and hasn't given him any more direction in life, however, it has made it easier for our parents and local relatives to push him around harass him about his life and where it's going. At this point, I'm going to target Chicago as one of the cities where I'm seeking professional advancement opportunities but not rush back without a good job or another solid plan. If I end up moving back, this thread will be a great resource. Thanks again.

That's sorta unfortunate if you look at it at a certain way, but that's what family is. They care.
