Hi everyone! Just joined the forum and I'm looking forward to talking with you all over the course of these few months leading up to my move. I currently live in Michigan and am planning on moving in June (with a short visit in February to check it out at its COLDEST). Right now I'm teaching dance at a local studio and have been for four years. Can anyone recommend some reputable dance studios? Certainly, I know all about Hubbard and Joel Hall, but I was wondering if there were any others. Possibly some smaller studios that might need an instructor? I would love to hear what everyone thinks. Thank you so much for any information you could give.

well i dont think you are going to get much for comments on this since you are in such a small industry. i cant comment too much on it, but those are the only 2 studios i really know of. a girl that used to live in the same building as me was from michigan and trying to do exactly what you are. she had a scholarship for hubbard, but really didnt cut it. she ended up taking jobs as an instructor at gyms so she could pay bills. good luck, its a hard industrty
