I spent a year backpackin europe. Most of em have age limits.

Really? What were the upper limits? I stayed in hostels in vienna, munich, salzburg, and prague and saw people of all ages in them ... perhaps I just got lucky.

Most are around 27 and under. I've stayed in em all over italy greece germany austria ireland belgium spain italy france and eypt. Might of forgot a country, its been awhile.

Default Right Again!

Now that you haved mentioned some of the various hostel formats I recall my Mom mentioning staying in an "elder hostel".

I appreciate the further input. I suppose I was wondering that if people from one particular age group predominated in one hostel location, if in one way or the other, someone would be.... "Inconvenienced".... or uncomfortable. Sometimes it is nice to allow people of simular ages to enjoy some of the general characteristics which go along with their ages. Although some of us just never seem to fit those generalizations.
