I am not looking for these guys, but I have been doing some reading on Chicago crime and the books sensationalize everything as though you can't walk out your door without being affected by mob activity, and I just don't see it. Some sources have said that Chinatown is more a central place for their activity but I have read about stuff going down, even as recent as last year in both the south and north side. Thank for your help.

Nah, they got him in an alley in Elmwood Park. Unless the alley was the one behind Armand's? Anyway, he did frequent the joint, and there were a few stories about him meeting with the now deceased Rosemont Mayor Stephens.

BTW, the thin crust is fantastic over there.

Connie's on Archer was a pretty well-known Outfit hangout until recently. May still be. Bridgeport and McKinley Par is still a bit mobbed up; and yeah, the Elmwood Park/Montclaire area is also still a bit mobbed up, or at least it was until recently. Hard to tell though because the mob keeps a low profile. It's not like the 20s through the 70s where they could be as conspicuous as they wanted to be. The Feds have gotten way to efficient at taking the loudmouths down.

The "Outfit" by and large has been taken down. Im sure theres still members and some loose organizational structure, but as far as having much of an influence..not really.
