Is it ever going to stop snowing?

If you don't like snow, don't come to Chicago.

This is nothing. We used to get stuff like this multiple times per winter even 7 years ago before "global warming" or whatever has been going on started to change things.

Chicago receives very little snow in comparison to most other cities.

That being said, it's winter. The majority of the country receives snow at this time.

Amongst very large cities Chicago is very high up there, if not tops.

Chicago actually averages more snow in January than Anchorage Alaska and Minneapolis-St. Paul for example. While Chicago is not tops in the mainland 48 amongst all cities, among large cities it is pretty high on the list.

Snowfall - Average Total In Inches

I'm supposed to be at class right now, but the school closed early due to the snow....

Not that I mind the cancellation or anything, lol.

Thank you for proving that many cities receive as much if not more snow than Chicago.

I do not know anyone here that has half a brain ever claim Chicago gets more snow than any other city in the country. But if you are comparing large cities, Chicago is very high.

Yeah, I know, guys. Chicago can get a lot of snow every winter. I've lived here all of my life. I was just ranting and I hate the snow which is one reason why I want to move.

I used to not mind the snow most of my life but now I'm sick and tired of it. I hate sweeping the snow off my car and scraping the ice off its windows, and when the snow gets deep enough, I hate shoveling the car out. lol I just don't want to put up with winter anymore and want to move south.

Chicago itself can't get those footer or more snows anymore just 10 tops if we are lucky.

Their is something about Chicago that rejects the snow and i thinks its that damn Midway Airport.
