Thanks for the chitty post with zero unique insight or original thought. If I wanted pure facts and 'news' I wouldn't be on a message board, but rather I'd be on a news site. As well, there is already a thread right below this dedicated to Chicago crime.

MODS please delete.

I take it you're the type who blames "institutional racism" for these shootings.

Yeah, the uncomfortable politically-incorrect truth tends to twist moonbat panties into knots; ergo it must be suppressed, swept under the rug.

I wonder how many people got shot at but did not get hit, a couple of hundred maybe? I see why they call it Chiraq.

One of my favorite weekends in Chicago, the weather was perfect this weekend! So many people out, I was all around the west/north sides and it felt so energetic and alive. Glad summer is finally here.

The poster is correct that the violent weekend is being discussed in another big thread (Chicago Crime Spikes). So it isn't being suppressed or swept under the rug.

People, this thread is a good example of how threads about Chicago crime states quickly degenerate. As stated in the Sticky thread, crime stats threads are no longer permitted. The other thread referenced above is still open, but tread lightly. If it degenerates to personal attacks and snide remarks, it, too, will be closed..
