Why does the thread say "Where Do You Live?" but the survey says, "Where Are You From?" Those are two different questions. I answered the first question with my response because I didn't notice the conflict in the questions until after I'd answered it.

Please. I am white, I grew up on the south side, and I now live on the south side (not in Bridgeport).

I am white and was born and raised in Brighton Park. I moved to Houston for work however.

My mistake. Should be "Where do you live"

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio... then moved to Chicago in my 30s and lived in the East Lakeview neighborhood for 20 years (1995-2015). Am now back in the Cleveland area, living in Lakewood, a close-in suburb similar in some aspects to Evanston or Oak Park, only with a lively bar scene.

Born and Raised in Albany Park.
Houses are cheap in Maywood so family moved there where I currently live.
Looking to buy in Cicero or Belmont Craigin in the upcoming years.

And I'm 26 so, more than half my life was on a block in AP

You decide where I am from.

Is it where I live?
Where my childhood/ middle school was?

Or where I am at this point in life?

To be or not to be

Aerio poem:

Born in Poland,
came to Jefferson Park, then moved to

Elk Grove Village,
Champaign-Urbana,
Arlington Heights,
Edgebrook and
Belmont-Cragin, now

living in Tokyo.

Each area offered a good chapter in my life and depending on people's needs, I would recommend any place I've lived so far... I haven't had tremendously negative experiences in any, yet.

Born in Urbana, raised in DuPage, living on the north side. I do have a white friend from work who was raised in Lakeview for whomever said that they didn't think any white people were raised in the city. Granted, she's not on here. My dad grew up in Lincoln Park and then West Rogers Park and my mom was out on Higgins, no idea what the neighborhood is called, but she went to Taft. Both my grandfathers lived in Bucktown and Wicker Park when there were a lot of Poles there, though both were born here, their parents were immigrants.

Oh if I had a gf I'd move into an apartment with her. I'd let her use a webcam to make money to pay some of the rent if she wanted.
