Anyone here snag any good tickets? I sure did! I wish I had more money to purchase the full 42 tickets allowed. I got some very decent White Sox and Cardinal game tickets.

The Cubs play the Tigers this year?

You should go to the park. Have you ever gone there before?

I'm waiting on my request for Mets and Sox tickets (and, yes, I will be wearing some Mets paraphernalia to that game), but I'm pretty optimistic about it coming through...I gots me a source...

Weird patterns on tickets this year. Usually the Mets games do not sell out this early. All the Sox and Cardinal tickets are sold out on the first day of sales as usual. I am going to make some good cash lol

So where do you see your Cards finishing this year, eh? I say fourth place

Oh, and Avengerfire, that's because everyone wants to see my boys Reyes and Wright...and Johan!

The Tigers are looking stacked this year, though, I must say. Second-best team in the AL, IMO.

I don't see us being worse than the Cubs in 2006 (66-96).

I'm going to a Cardinal game May 31st against the Pirates. This year won't be pretty, but I'm excited. The average age of the players have decreased significantly and I expect the young guys to show a little bit of hustle.

You should catch a game at Busch sometime. It's a lot of fun.

Over the past few years in head-to-head competition the Cubs have the Cardinals beat. But overall, the Cardinals have about 8 more World Series wins than the Cubs. Actually, in the time it's taken both Chicago teams to win 1 World Series, the Cardinals have won 10 (their first in 1926).

Spring Training is always exciting. You have 69 guys trying to make a 25-man team. And there's a general feeling of hope in Spring Training.

I look forward to this year and to seeing who surprises us.

And I have about 10 Cardinal shirts. I have one from the 2004 World Series (although we lost), and a couple from the 2006 season. I have a World Series glass as well as a throw blanket and a rug, and some posters, and a pennant, and of course, World Series Monopoly.

No doubt the Cards have been more successful, both in the last decade and historically, than the Cubs. This year, though, I say fourth place. I don't think they'll be 66-96, but around 70 or 72 wins sounds about right, and I'd be surprised if they won much more than 75. They've just got too many question marks.

I actually think the Brewers take the Central this year, but that division is so weak you could envision plausible scenarios in which each teams wins, and plausible ones in which each team finishes in last. Cubs in second, Reds third, Cards fourth, Astros and Pirates duking it out for last.

Oh, and I do plan to check to see when the Mets are in Milwaukee and maybe St. Louis and head out to catch a game. Gotta see as much Mets baseball as I can get this year.
