Ok, we are sick of those who use the streets as their personal garbage can in our neighborhood. It is freakin' ridiculous!! If I pick up one more McDonald's bag or doritos wrapper.

As far as the garbage itself,more often than not it comes from people throwing it out their windows while driving. A garbage can will only do so much... I also see people drop garbage on the ground when there is a garbage can a few feet away.

Very true Avengerfire....still very frustrating! Can't folks hold garbage to dispose at gas station or somewhere with a garbage can?!? Isn't this what it is for. Gotta love the sense of entitlement that it is someone else's responsibility to pick up.

It sucks. We have problems with street trash by my apartment also. There are like 6 garbage cans lining my street (city garbage cans) in a 2 block stretch and there still is garbage (and DOG CRAP) on the street,sidewalks, and grass. One thing that is key is how often the city empties them. By me they do not empty them enough. You really have to get on your Alderman about that.
Which I will be doing very soon with mine.
People are quite ignorant.
