Good grief...my grandma used to live in this building before the rent went outta site and she moved. In fact, she lived there for as long as I can remember, certainly through most of my childhood. I know the area is good...she lived on the 8th floor so she didn't have a view of much other than the surrounding buildings although you can see Wesley Memorial Hospital (where I was born). Okay...too much non-relevant info....

What sort questions do you have about the building/area?

You may already have this but this is about all I can offer. I use to work at 290 E. Pearson, so I know the area is really nice and upscale.

Yes, I lived there until 2 years ago when they decided to kick everyone out and converto to condos. Well after the city jumping down their throats for not pulling permits and the real estate market taking a dump, the man who purchased the building fled back to India. That is the story I just got 2 months ago from a few of the guys who still work there when I was renting. It was a great rental building, great location. They have allowed some people to continue to rent, but the one's who have purchased, most are trying to rent them. I believe they are trying to rent them for $2k+. We saw some of the work they were doing in the beginning, not very impressive for the money. Not sure of exact nature of the building (ownership) now. We loved living there before moving to the burbs. Wish we never had left.
