Hispanics are the prime example of that though.

We've been mixing for 500 years.

Majority of the world population isn't mixed, perhaps many blacks in the Western Hemisphere are but it doesn't speak for the rest of the world. Furthermore I don't subscribe to the idea that all blacks in America have European ancestry, and even if that were to be true then race shouldn't be an issue because blacks as well as what are called hispanics all have white lineage correct?

Probably because the options for race are limited to a few races.

Most Hispanics are bi-racial, Mexicans are predominately Indigenous with European , Puerto Ricans are predominately European with African, same with Cubans. Same goes for Colombians, Venezuelans, etc..

Hispanic is used as a proxy for a "race." For statistical purposes, it is used as a "race" without anyone saying so.

It will in the future, if not genetically at least with ideas. If they want to survive as countries.
