Hi,
I am looking for a studio apartment within 10-15 min walking distance from The Chicago Amtrak Union station. $1000 or less. Any suggestion?

Extremely unlikely that you will find anything near Union Station (or any of the train stations) for $1000. Most studios in that area go for 2-3x that, and most apartment search services don't even offer an option to include rental rates that low.

do all metro lines converge to the Amtrak station? What would be a good line, metro stop to be close to in an affordable neighborhood to reach the Amtrak station in 15-20min?

You know, it's just as easy to look up a map of Chicago as it is to post questions on this forum. If you had looked at a map, you would see that in fact there are no "metro" lines that stop at Union Station at all. Or at any of the train stations in Chicago. However all of the lines are within a 3-4 block walk from the station.

For $1k you can probably find a budget studio in Lakeview, Uptown or Edgewater neighborhoods. These would be about a 45-minute commute via Brown Line or Red Line to Quincy, and then walk to Union Station. Hyde Park and Little Village offer studios in that range but less convenient commuting options.

I presume you are trying to find an urban studio that would allow you to commute to a suburban job without a car? If that's the case it would be helpful to know what train line you would be taking from Union Station--there may be an affordable neighborhood where you can jump on the train without having to go all the way to downtown first.
