In large buildings chances are they have multiple available apartments with varying views, and better views have higher rents.

Do rental apartments have the "Right to quiet enjoyment" as part of the lease or is it only for condos?

Ask the leasing people about that when you inquire about the apartment. And try to see it in advance before you sign the lease. Apartment buildings might advertise online and only show 5-8 available apartments, but there really are 30 - 40 available. They just do not list every single one. Tell them you feel view is most important - they do want to know what is most important to you so that they can whittle their availables down to a few for you to look at.

Ok that's good, thought that was unique to my landlord lease. I read many reviews that say paper thin walls on apt buildings/unresponsive management etc and they suffer through it all, why not use this clause and break the lease and possibly get $ back for damages/expenses related to this inconvenience through attorney?
