Hi, I’ve lived in Green Bay for most of my life. I just finished college in Madison and I gotta job in Chicago. All I really know is that it’s located pretty much in the middle of downtown. I have never been through Chicago because whenever I go somewhere I fly. I want a okay apartment in a good area. I really don’t even know if the south side or north side is worse. I was also wondering if there’s any clubs or nightclubs and if they are busy. I was also wondering how traffic is and the worse times of day. As coming from Wisconsin, I am a Packers and Bucks and Brewer fan so I want to be able to go to games. How bad is traffic on game days and should I worry about tickets selling extremely fast?? Like I said I’ve never really been through Chicago so I don’t really know. Anything will really help me Thanks!

Clubs are very busy on weekends downtown. Lots of them too. Mostly River North, but others scattered about.

Don't worry too much about traffic. We have one of the best public transit systems in the US. Take it and traffic is much less of a concern. Plus it's way cheaper.

Bears/Packer game tickets are always 100% pre sold. You can always get tickets on the secondary market, but it will cost you. Going to a brewers game should never be hard to get tickets. Bulls are typically full too, but again, you can get tickets on the secondary market at a price.

Look at Lincoln Park and Lake View as starting neighborhoods for apartments.

Good luck, btw, my wife is from near Green Bay. She loves it here.

You can live wherever you want with that budget. You can easily pay less than that.

As a fellow Badger, save your cash for when you need it later in life
Blowing it on rent in a big city wears off quickly(!)

If only it were that easy. My wife has converted to all Chicago teams, except the Bears.
