I am taking a junior high student council group to chicago this summer. There will be about 40 of us altogether, mostly students from ages 13 to 15. I want them to experience Chicago deep dish pizza. I have read various comments on the internet about Gino's East, Giordano's, Lou Malnati's, etc. Which place would be the most enjoyable for kids this age, taking into consideration the pizza, atmosphere, etc.? Thank you. Jim

The Original Gino's East would have the best atmosphere for that age group and has great pizza.

While we've beaten the pizza topic to death for our own purposes ( //www.city-data.com/forum/chica...a-chicago.html ), I have to agree that for 40 people, mostly young teens, Gino's East would be the best. Have fun!

Yes, go to Gino's East and write on the walls! The middle schoolers will love it.

But if you want a more sophisticated pizza with adult friends, go to Spacca Napoli in Ravenswood. It's not deep dish, but it really great Neopolitan pizza with the best ingredients available.
