I am currently looking into moving into a new apartment, and I was looking at a place just northeast of Division and Pulaski, off of Grand Ave. The apartment itself was very nice, but I have a few concerns about the neighborhood and would like some input from y'all before I consider it.

Is this considered a dangerous part of Humboldt Park? Honestly I'm not super familiar with Humboldt Park at all. I've been in an apartment on Austin, right on the border of Oak Park, for about two years, but I'd like to move closer to my new job which is just east of Humboldt Park. Does anybody from the area have any input with the location?

I would avoid that area.

I live a bit northeast of there (North and Kedzie) and I would not recommend that area despite its proximity to Jimmy’s Red Hots.
Daytime is probably fine but at night? Nope.
