jfre81, you got me there, Sir. I do not use the CPS bus system often... But definitely try San Soo Gab San. If you go when I'm in town, let's try some of their sushi. THAT, I never had there!

I've yet to get to Green Leaf! Need to check that one out. I'd been to Opart (previous iteration) and did like that place.

Heads up on a new great and seemingly extensive place for Thai groceries---Edgewater.

MasterJay--it's cool that you regularly make the trek down to Chicago. The two are so close, so very easy to do. You could almost merge those two metro areas (if we were in the south it may have already happened haha)---not much time from the far northern burbs of Chicago before you hit MKE. I love going up to Milwaukee some times for a change of pace and just to explore..some really cool things happening up there.

I'm not that far away. 49 is the Western bus. I'm just down Belmont (77) between there and Diversey somewhere between an elotero and a kielbasa shop, let's just say.

I love this city.

jfre81, wow you are close! That neighborhood, then, is called North Center, correct? I love Chicago, too, my brother! I'm glad you are enjoying it. Let's grab a sushi roll sometime.

Good morning, one of our city-data.com friends thought some people might be interested in looking this up, regarding Thai food in Lincoln Square, so I hope this works:

Nice. Master Jay - you'll notice Isla Pilipina on their map list. That is a must try next time you are down.

I need to expand my horizons. We've lived in the neighborhood 7 months now and I feel we are already repeating too many places without trying new ones. Despite the unattractive appearance, W Lawrence is just loaded with amazing ethnic places to try, and I've only tried a couple of them.

Monti's (not Asian) is also on this site you've shared. I got take out from there once and I was a little disappointed because people rave about their food. Maybe I got the wrong thing - sounds like their Philly Cheesesteaks are the way to go.

Evanston and Hyde Park are extremely nice Asian neighborhoods.
