Hey guys, I am driving back to Chicago on Thursday to check out a few more apartments. I had a quick question about traffic. Is the traffic worse on LSD or 90? I should be arriving around 9 am if that helps.

I have yet to find a time that 90 was moving better than LSD at or near any Rush hours

Take 90 until you hit I-55, then follow the signs to LSD. The northbound part moves quite well once you get past downtown, plus LSD will actually take you to Lakeview whereas 90 will take you away from it and you'll have to backtrack on surface streets.

From the east I would recommend getting on the Skyway despite the $3 toll. Personally I like Lake Shore Drive so much that I take the Stony Island Blvd exit from the Skyway and go past MSI and everything. Really a magnificent way to get into the city.
