I’m moving to Chicago and am looking to live in Lincoln Park. I see that the 134 Express bus take you straight to the loop where I work. Is it a nightmare to ride the bus during rush hour in the morning or is there an express lane for buses? How long does it usually take to get to Wacker/Columbus from LP?

it's really nice, especially if you get a seat.. One of the BEST scenic routes going thru Lincoln Park and the beach. Doable if you don't mind standing as the seats get filled down near Diversey give or take a few blocks north or south of Diversey.

Especially great at Christmastime, it avoids all the Michigan Avenue shoppers and traffic which adds about average 20-30 minutes if you had taken the #145 bus which takes you to Lincoln Park. Always take the 134 if you can!

So average, from Lincoln Park to Wacker/Columbus is about maybe 25-30 minutes last time I took it (that's summer, but winter, you know it may add a little more time.. but seriously WAY better than taking one that goes down Michigan Ave route like the 146 or 143.
