I need to buy some furniture for a new home. I know about the big box furniture stores. Are there any lesser-known discount furniture places in Chicago I should check out? Looking for decent stuff that will last a few years but I'm also cost conscious. Thanks.

Try Roy's furniture on Sheffield. They do have a website. I have never purchased from them but do know someone who has.

elston and fullerton, dont recall the name. its a 2 level warehouse stuffed, wall to wall, floor to ceiling. also, they were super nice, when u find them, but they totally cut me a good deal and dropped the sales tax. no glitz but many options.

Rossi Custom Furniture has good prices, and is most likely a front. So you get cheap furniture and a fun anecdote.
