I would doubt it. But what makes any one think so? Or not?

The Obamas are done with Chicago and have been since November 2008. Other than trying to con the olympics committee to landing the 2016 games as a Chicago-way payback to their hometown cronies, they gone.

Oh you’ll see them do some show ups at his library but other than that they’re done with Chicago.

Do people actually think they would leave DC’s Kalorama neighborhood for something like Bronzeville? Or leave their $15 million Martha vineyard 2nd home for New Buffalo MI? Although being the climate change advocate he pedaled, it is odd the Obamas would drop that much coin on an island property in the Atlantic Ocean, after all rising sea levels will wash it out soon so maybe they will move their summer home to the Dells.

Or, like their climate change crusading, they simply conned and used Chicago and its political machine and moved-on.

I think they are enjoying their mansion on Marthas Vinyard or somewhere out there.

They have their 2nd mansion on MV, their full time mansion is in DC’s Kalorama ‘hood. I think combined they dropped between $25-$30 million on these cribs. Who knew being a 2-term president at $400k/year paid so well?

Their humble roots, like Chicago, have long been gone from their rear view mirror.

Sorry the truth can be negative or as Jack Nicholson famously said: ''you can't handle the truth''.

Anything stated not true?

Will Obama move back to Chicago? No. At least I provided an answer with back-up facts to the OP, you didn't probably because you can't other than using your own negative also known as "No".

See, I'm smiling. Feel better now?

It has nothing to do with Kalorama vs. Bronzeville. It has everything to do with Obama wanting to be close to DC/national politics, this was pretty big news once Trump became president that Obama would want to stay in DC and remain connected to politics. You make it sound like Obama hates Chicago and would never step foot there if he didn't have to.... give it a rest, this isn't true and you know it.

Regarding OP, the Obamas are both still in their 50's, so they still have a lot of time left to move elsewhere. I definitely don't see their DC residence as being 100% permanent, and there is definitely a chance they move back to Chicago, or maybe they don't. I guess we just have to wait and see. But, to my knowledge, there hasn't been any recent news of them planning to move back to Chicago, so I wouldn't count on it for now at least.
