the only time i was in Milwaukee was downtown for Adam Lambert concert (American Idol). so i went to that theatre there and it reminded me of the one in Chicago, called "the Chicago Theatre".

ChicagoMeo,

The last I heard, our SummerFest was going to be postponed this summer, because of Covid.

IF that still ends up holding true, that will be a MAJOR BUMMER!!!

Otherwise, I would say, come on up!!!

I think SummerFest runs for 2 weeks, and then after that, each weekend is a different ethnic fest. And when I come down to the different street/ethnic fests in Chicago, and chat with folks and explain who I am/where I'm from, I have heard many Chicagoans say they make their way up for those.

I have always thought Milwaukee is a cross between Chicago and Joliet.

aga412, hello.

I have never been to Joliet. SO I cannot tell if your analysis describes Milwaukee in a good way, orrrrrrr...........
