Mine would be the Wrigley and Tribune Towers, plus the Trump is looking pretty good. The Sphire will also be one of my favorites once it's done.

sorry, it's upside down. You kinda have to tilt you're head a bit. It's amazing how much detail they put into the top of a building. Something very few people get to see.

The Trump is gonna look pretty good onece it's done

Oh, yeah, I like this one, too. (in the middle) I don't know what it's called, though. I love the dome on top.

I can't stand po-mo. LaGrange is notorious for cranking that slop out...

Definitley for me mine will be Trump Tower. I just love how that building is going to start off at the base all wide, yet rounded, and then the roof lines will match the neighboring buildings showing that the planners took in the idea of being a good neighbor and did what they could to not dwarf Trump's surrounding neighbors. The building on the inside will be nothing but magnificent too I'm sure.

Yeah, he's the worst! If I see another ad for "Lincoln Park 2520" with him speaking, I'm going to vomit.

Again, you can't post any images that are copyrighted.... only those that you took yourself! If this continues, I'll have to close the thread

(you can post the links though)

The Hancock, from the outside. Love the diagonals, which I feel give the building a graceful, rather than blocky behemoth appearance. I was inside the residential section a few years ago and felt it looked tired and needed some re-doing, which I understand is under way.

Also like Lake Point Tower. I think it's great that it's the only building on the E side of Lk Shore Drive along that part of the lakefront (anywhere in Chgo?).

Trump isn't looking bad, and I thought I wouldn't like it there. I do like it and feel it will add to the skyline in a positive way, particularly at night.

Big John and The Wrigley Building. Loved them since I was a kid and I still think they're pretty cool.

I agree, which is why I like the Hancock much better than the Sears Tower. Depending on which angle I'm viewing it from, I often find the Sears Tower too clunky-looking.

My other favorites (besides the Hancock) are Marina City and Lake Point Tower. The new Trump Tower is looking pretty sharp these days as well.

yes but the sears is twice as big as the hancock, it doesnt have a stupid name, and the whole city sees it every day, unlike the northsiders exclusive hancock view.
